COMPANY OVERVIEW

SkyInnovations Aerospace & Defence Pty Ltd designs, manufactures and supports parachute and aviation field equipment for defence and humanitarian missions. We deliver humanitarian parachute solutions for rapid aerial delivery into austere and remote environments, with a focus on reliability, predictable performance and safe deployment. Our field equipment capability covers cargo and personnel parachute systems, including rigging and packing support, deployment accessories, and sustainment to maintain readiness and serviceability. Our R&D is engineering-led and customer-driven. We translate client requirements into technical specifications, design and iterate canopy, suspension and rigging architectures, validate materials, and develop prototypes and test plans. We support qualification and assurance through analysis, inspection planning and verification evidence, reducing technical risk and accelerating delivery into service.

PRODUCTS

  • Humanitarian parachute delivery systems for rapid aerial resupply into austere
  • and remote environments

  • Cargo parachute systems (complete assemblies, rigging configurations,
  • deployment accessories and mission kits)

  • Personnel parachute field support (rigging and packing support, deployment aids,
  • sustainment and readiness services)

  • Requirements-to-design engineering: translate capability needs into specifications, loads, performance targets and interface requirements
  • Design and prototyping of canopy, suspension and rigging architectures to meet
  • client safety, reliability and handling requirements

  • Materials selection and validation for durability, UV resistance, moisture,
  • temperature and abrasive environments

  • Test planning and evidence generation: fit/function checks, ground tests, drop- test planning support, data capture and reporting
  • Manufacturing of aviation-grade textile assemblies: precision cutting, sewing,
  • assembly, integration, kitting and configuration control

  • Quality and traceability support: inspection and test plans, build records, batch tracking and documentation packs for Defence procurement
  • Repair, overhaul and through-life support options: inspection, refurbishment,
  • spares supply and technical documentation updates

DISCRIMINATORS

  • Dual-use focus: Defence sustainment discipline applied to humanitarian and operational parachute delivery in tropical and
  • monsoon conditions typical of South-East Asia

  • Engineering-led, client-driven development: rapid translation of user requirements into specifications, prototypes and
  • test-ready designs

  • End-to-end capability in one supplier: design/R&D, manufacturing, assembly, documentation and through-life sustainment
  • Agile manufacturing of aviation textile equipment: short lead times for prototypes, trial lots and scalable production runs
  • Configuration control and traceability built in: repeatable builds, batch tracking, inspection plans and evidence packs suited to
  • Defence procurement

  • Practical field support mindset: rigging/packing support, deployment accessories and maintainability designed in from
  • the start

  • Qualification support capability: test planning, verification approach, and structured reporting to reduce technical risk for
  • the customer

  • Flexible partnering model for the region: local in-country integration/support options with prime/SME partners and Defence
  • end users

  • Mission reliability emphasis: conservative design margins, materials validation and build quality aimed at predictable
  • performance in harsh environments

  • Export-oriented engagement: experienced working across international customers and compliance expectations for
  • controlled aviation equipment
